Austy was on the Dodgers this year and loved playing pitcher and catcher. Catcher is always fun at this age because you get to put all the equiptment on ( like playing dress-up with girls) haha!

The coach was our Bishop and his brother in-law which have adopted us into their fun family (they have 5 boys and a girl, the bishop is married to the girl) so with that many siblings and all of their kids it feels as close as possible to being home with cousins on the holidays. This has been a great blessing to my boys...we love you Showalter family! Oh and of course Jake was one of the assistants!! He loves control...wonder where that comes from?????

Yes we do get sun here in Buffalo!!!

Ok I am going to try to get this updated since the boys are back in school and my dogs aren't much into conversation...the last update I did was in March then I had shoulder reconstructive surgery!!! OUCH!! My arm is finally getting back to normal and I can type on a keyboard without medication. We have had a great summer and I was able to go spend 2 weeks with my fun family!! Mom even took the 2 weeks off and Lacey had the whole 2 weeks filled with fun activities!! I needed a vacation from my vacation!! Thanks Lace I know you went to alot of work to cordinate with everyone. I also got to spend 2 special weeks with my grandma Vincent in her last days here on the earth....she will be dearly missed!! She was an awesome grandma!! Love you grandma!! Kevin and I were able to fly back home for her funeral and spend some nice alone time together! It has been a while the boys and all of their sports keep us busy and Kevin got another promotion at work and is Stake YM Pres. so he is busy. So it was nice to steal him away from all the quoas!! So here we go!!!

Ok....This is the 1st broken arm by a trampoline ever in my family with 4 siblings and my 4 boys...and no Austy didn't fall off the tramp he got bounced high and bent his wrist on the tramp trying to catch himself!! Argh!! My neighbors wouldn't let their kids jump because we didn't have our net up so they sadly sat and watched my boys jump! Now there is now hope for them...sorry Katie and Alex!LOL!

I was in the house and as soon as I heard the scream I knew it was serious...one of those cries that makes a mom's stomache sick! Kevin wanted to wait a day and see if it felt better( totally a dad saying suck it up) ha ha! Lucky for Austy mom wears the pants in the family...haha!! Sorry Kev! But just a funny side note about NY is they aren't allowed to put a cast on in the ER. So they sent us to an Orthopedic surgeons office to get one and take a second set of x-rays. So....they can operate on you but can't put on a cast????HMMMMM...something is wrong here...too many laws!!!

This is a picture of "Sonny" (he is from China) an investigator of the church, Sister McLelland, Sister Saxon, me and Sissy of course. We had a dinner with them where Sonny made us authentic Chinese Dumplings, and Sister Saxon is from Louisiana and made us Jambalya!! What a treat!!

Sister Saxon was returning home from her mission the next week so we had both of our favorite desserts (fruit tarts from Wegmans)!! MMMMMMM!

These were Sonny's dumplings, he boiled some and fried some and they were both delicious! The boys loved them and we wished we had leftovers! We have been craving them ever since!

It was a hit!!! Sonny let the boys help and they had so much fun!! He also taught them how to do some Chinese writing and how to write their names in Chinese! We had so much fun! The night definately ended too soon!! Thanks Sonny!!

........................... Our first NY camping trip!

This is Jake,Buddy, and Millie at the Lake getting family baths! They were so dirty they looked brown. I thought all dogs were born knowing how to swim but obviously not...Buddy sank!! Jake jumped in and rescued him and was not happy mom threw him in! Jakey and his tender heart! The dogs loved the back of the truck and it was the fastest blow dry I have ever seen!!

This was us at the Fish hatchery. This turned out to be one of the neatest memories of the trip. It was Kevins idea and we weren't thrilled about it! As soon as we got there and saw all the fish and watched them fight over the food as we feed them it was AWESOME! Great idea babe!!

The boys love the yard here in the summer. They have bows and arrows and love to practice. Here they are showing their cousins from Michigan how to do it! We love visitors! hint...hint! We actually have a yard here. This gives me hope for sun! Can't wait for Spring!

This is where we are wishing we still were right now!! We miss our friends and our boat and most of all the WEATHER!!!!

We love the weather here in New York in the Spring, Summer and Fall is awesome but I would give up the Winters in a heartbeat. Friday I took the boys to the orthodontist and at 9am it was -1! -15 with windchill factor. And boy the wind blows! The schools are amazing and the people here so friendly and down to earth. There are definately more positives than negatives. We are greatful for all we have!

Austy must have been the comfiest thing in the car or the most patient because the dogs just gravitated to him! Austy thought it was sooo funny!

You can see how the pecking order goes in my family! Dogs in seats and boys on the floor! haha! I wish I could sleep anywhere like this. Before this trip Buddy would cry in the car, even going to pick up the boys from school. By the time we ended the first day he gave up on us getting home!

This is Austy new puppy. He is our first dog from anywhere but Utah! He's a New Yauker! He hated being in the back seat. He always wanted to be by Austy. Austy is such a good pet owner! Austy helps with Buddy anytime I ask and even when I don't. We realized on this trip why the Pioneers only went one way!! Nobody would really do that to themselves on purpose. We have done it once and that's all it takes!! 29 hours without stops! crazy! The boys were good, weather good, car worked perfectly, dogs great, just tooooooo farrrrrrrrrrr!

Jake was so good at Wrestling. There is ONE bonus to having mine and my moms stubborness!! haha! He wrestled alot of boys who have been wrestling for 3 years and most of them weighed 10 lbs. more than him and had more leverage with the height they had on him!! I am so proud of both the boys seasons! After the last meet the high school coach came up to Jake and told him how good he was and told him he should try out for club that he coaches at the high school! Awesome complement! We wish family could have seen their achievements this year!! But this is the best we can do. We miss you and Love ya!

KC has gotten so tall! He is now taller than me. Look at his height to the ref. he is almost as tall as him! He is now average height! Just in time for High School!

This was the boys first year wrestling and they rocked! They had sooo much fun and it was such a great workout for them everyday. Their conditioning made them so tired everyday they came home. They made so many new friends this year. These are 2 of their favorites and both of their names are Austin. So not to get them confuse with their brother they called them by their last names, Cjzaz and Crozac.

No we aren't in California anymore!

They are such typical boys showing off their muscles. It is hilarious to see them check out their muscles in the mirror when they think nobody is watching ( gotcha!!)
This was 2 weeks into the season you should see them now! Jake has started his growth hormone shots and is almost at a 6 pack and has gained 10 pounds and grown an inch in 2 months! awesome!

Christmas in Utah at Salt Lake Temple

I had to publish this picture because not everyone gets to see this beautiful place at Christmas. The boys were sooo excited to go. We walked around the visitors center and I was so proud of them because they knew what was happening in probably 90% of the paintings!

Poor Kevin! He is just like his mommy! They seem to blink in more pictures than not! ha ha! He hates it!

I am a dork with computers and can't figure out how to turn this picture! Oh well!

This is my NOT SO baby!! They are growing up so fast. Austy is such a mommies boy and is always asking if I want some ice water or if I need anything. He is such a special little man to me! He is very thoughtful and very sensative. He hates to disappoint me. When we were leaving temple square Austin screams " I can't believe we got to see the Salt Lake Temple in REAL LIFE!!" I thought that was hilarious! The little things kids appreciate that sometimes us adults take for granted. We are always being humbled by them!

Our family has gotten huge since being home last! It was soooo fun seeing all of you and the boys miss all their aunts and uncles. They grew up without cousins being the only grandkids...getting spoiled rotten. They have had to make a huge adjustment to Aunts having kids and not getting all their attention. :)

KC's 14th B-day

This reminds me of my cheerleading days! You should have seen how funny it was to see them try to make this pyramid! Scary! The poor kids on the bottom were getting abused. They had to have left with so many bruises. And it was from the football game in the front yard. Tower building isn't a natural talent. ha ha!

I thought Aunt Lacey would get a kick out of this! The "Chuckie" doll in this picture was her April fools joke when she came to visit! This doll is the hit of every party at our house. My boys are completely scared of Chuckies room (my closet) they won't even get a pair of shoes for me.

But, when the party starts they turn into tough guys and freak out their friends!

Jake's 12th B-day

I can't believe Jake is 12. I now have 2 boys with the Priesthood!! I am too young, I feel. But then I look at my pictures and realize that the wrinkles( war wounds of being a mom) are there and they must have happened over night!! Jake was so excited to be a priesthood holder. He prepared and took it a little more serious than KC( not that KC doesn't take it serious),but Jake wanted so much to be like Kevin and KC and be able to go to dinner and the Priesthood session of conference as boys night out. Very cool tradition Kevin started. I am so sad because I didn't get a picture of Grandpa Ed with them.

Buffalo, NY Halloween Trunk or treat!

This is sad little Austin on Halloween night while everyone was

trick or treating! This is the second year in a row he has been

sick and hasn't been able to go out. When everyone was ready

we went looking for him and he was in bed asleep.

He had been home from school for 3 days with a sinus infection

and ear infections.

Mason was such a good brother and took out Austins bag and

asked people to give some to his sick brother. So sweet!!

KC was in charge of setting up the games and running one of

them for his "Duty to God" for his Eagle Scout.

planned on making 6, by the second wig

I decided Kevin and I didn't need wigs!! ha ha!

It took a week and a half. Good thing I planned

early. Kevin worked late that night so

he didn't even dress up!!! So no effort lost!! ha ha!!

The boys loved playing with their hair, it was a hit and

cost nothing. Already had yarn and nylons!! Awesome!!

Little Sissy Marie

Here is our little princess " Sissy Marie" still looking Good at 14 years old. She is 98 in people years. We have put her sweater on because it's starting to get a little cold for her old bones. She's such a good dog. We love her and have enjoyed everyday with her. Neck surgery and all, was worth every penny!!!

KC found a new sport that he loves and he
is really good at. He and Jake made alot of new
friends on the team this year.

This is their team uniforms. The team hated
them because they were called the "Little Devils"
which they aren't little right! ha ha! Boys! So they
wouldn't wear them to school on game days
because they were all embaressed. Guess the
school needs to get some new uniforms. Jakes
was sooo big I had to alter the sleeves and the
bottom. Poor kid!

This is their team and they went undefeated
the whole year. They were so excited. They won
all the teams 4 games to 1. This was really good for
Jake to be equal to KC and I was able to see
them really bond with Volleyball. A moms prayers
answered!

Jake was the smallest one on the team but

the best digger they had. He gave everything

he had and the coach noticed and he

played alot more than the bigger kids on

the team!!

Austins trip to get his dental work

We went to the dentist and Austy had 2 absest teeth and 7 root canals. The dentist ties it to gummy bear vitamins. He says he has seen a kid with no cavities go to 10 cavities in 6 months because of these fun little things! argh! So a word to the wise don't use them! So they had to put him on antibiotics and send him to childrens hospital where they put him under anesthesia and worked on his teeth. They put stainless steel caps on his teeth so he now looks like the little mexican kids in California. ( I have never said this to him so please don't repeat) We told him they are cool like bugs bunny because he was a little upset when he woke up and saw the results. So now he thinks its ok because of bugs bunny and the boys have been so good to not say anything bad. He says the kids at school think they are cool! Hallalua!! A mothers worst fear...the kids in elementary. They are a little too honest sometimes LOL!!! He was excited because after mom took him to McDonalds and he got a chocolate milkshake and we bought him some special popsicles that his brothers could only have if Austin said so. Gave him a little power he doesn't usually have with 3 older brothers. ha ha!!
